Thought Hours

I spend so much time
thinking and in thought
and within that space
hoping to find wisdom
that is entirely mine

After discovering
some books that
put my inner world
on display
that were written
many years ago,
it’s become clear
that I need to get out
of my thick skull
and spend more time
in the library
